About BKD Design Services
The Job of a Graphic designer—or graphic artist— is to plan, analyze and create visual solutions to communications problems. To find the most effective way to get messages across in print, electronic and film media using a variety of methods such as color, type, illustration, photography, animation and various print and layout techniques.

BKD Designs was formed to serve that purpose.

Basilios offers over 5 years of experience in Graphic Design with a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Graphics Technology from Purdue University. Assisting and enhancing the services and versatility of BKD Designs, Angela Dimitrelias offers over 3 years of experience in Project Management with a Bachelors degree in Tourism Management from Indiana University.

A brief bio…
Basilios Konstantinos Dimitrelias was born in Indianapolis. His family moved from Indianapolis to Greece in 1983. He grew up on the island of Samos, where he attended school and helped my father make a living as a farmer.

The island is famous for its grape vines and olive trees, so wine and olive oil are the main exported products.

In 1998, Basilios graduated from the high school of Samos at the age of 17. With the encouragement of his mother, he decided to move back to the United States to pursue a college education, so in July of 1998, he finally returned to Indianapolis !

In May 2005, Basilios completed his studies and received his Bachelors degree in Computer Graphic Technology (CGT) from The Purdue School of Engineering at IUPUI.

In October of 2005, he returned to Greece to join the Army. He completed nine months of service which was required for him to keep his Greek citizenship.

In August 2006, he returned to the States to start his professional career as a Graphic Designer. BKD Designs was born…

His parents still live on the island. His older sister moved back to Indianapolis in April, 2005. His younger sister and brother live and work in Athens, Greece.

In 2006, Basilios met a beautiful young lady named Angela Louise Thompson, and in July of 2009 they were married. Angela Louise Dimitrelias is now not only Basilios’s business partner, but his partner in life.
